EGCO Engineering & Service Company Limited (ESCO), a subsidiary of Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO Group), has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tokyo Energy & Systems Inc. (TES), an affiliate of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Inc. (TEPCO), to explore collaborative opportunities in the fields of power business, engineering, and maintenance services.

The signing ceremony was held on 8 October 2025 at ESCO Headquarters and was presided over by Mr. Suthisak Kaewmeesaeng, Managing Director of ESCO, and Mr. Soichiro Horikawa, Executive Vice President of TES, together with executives and representatives from both organizations. The MoU signifies the mutual intention of ESCO and TES to establish a framework for future cooperation, aimed at creating new business opportunities, enhancing technical capabilities, and expanding services in Thailand and the Asia-Pacific region.

TES is recognized for its advanced Japanese engineering technology and expertise, while ESCO has strong experience in power plant operation and maintenance (O&M), engineering services, and field operations throughout Thailand and Southeast Asia. By combining TES’s technological strengths with ESCO’s operational expertise and regional presence, both parties anticipate strong synergy that will drive innovation, efficiency, and global competitiveness.
