EGCO Engineering and Service Co., Ltd. (ESCO), an EGCO Group’s company, was recertified as a member of Thailand’s Private Sector Collective Action Coalition against Corruption (CAC). ESCO was first certified in 2016 by the Institute of Thai Directors. Mr. Sathit Thanomkul, ESCO’s Managing Director, represented the company at the recertification presentation ceremony held on 18 October 2019 at Hyatt Regency Bangkok Hotel.

EGCO Group has encouraged its subsidiaries and affiliates to become CAC members. At present, three companies certified as CAC members are EGCO, ESCO and Khanom Electricity Generating Co, Ltd.

In 2019, CAC focused its activity in creating corruption-free supply chain. To achieve this goal, CAC has inspired its members to become the change agent by embracing anti-corruption practice and encouraging their business partners, especially SMEs, to join CAC. This will lead Thai business to become completely corruption-free.
